Souda Plot

The small town of Souda has about 5500 inhabitants and is located in Souda Bay, to the east of Chania. The bay is about 15km long and just 2-4 km wide, and is a deep natural harbour. It is also one of the biggest ports of Greece and daily ferry services connect Souda to the port of Piraeus.

In the middle of the bay is a small islet of the same name with a beautiful Venetian castle standing in its centre.
Souda town provides all kind of accommodations, entertainment and facilities including tavernas, kafenions, shops, supermarkets, banks and car hire. There is also a regular bus service to Chania. From Souda one can visit the interesting surrounding region as well as Aptera which used to be a powerful city of Greece and where Roman and Byzantine remains and a Turkish fort can still be seen.

The town is just 10 minutes drive from Chania airport and is 6 km from the city of Chania.

Building Allowance: 200 m²

Ravdoucha Plot

Just over half an hour’s drive from Chania and 5 to 10 minutes from the main coast road, the village of Ravdoucha bestrides the high ground of two small hills on the rugged Rodopou Peninsula and offers a choice of gorgeous sea or mountain views.

Although there are no shops in the village there are three simple kafenions and also two excellent tavernas, hidden away amongst the olive groves near the coast, some 2km from the village itself. For more sophisticated shopping and a good choice of waterfront tavernas, the seaside village of Kolymbari is no more than a10 minute drive away. Here you will find a large supermarket as well as a bank, bakery and butchers shop, plus a chemist and post office for good measure.

Nipos Plot

The village of Nippos is located at the foot of the White Mountains in the area of Apokoronas. It is delightfully traditional village with a couple of traditional kafenions and a taverna and has magnificent, panoramic mountain views.

The village is just 5 minutes drive away from the bustling town of Vrisses where shops, banks, cafes and tavernas can be found. There are also superb tavernas to be found in the surrounding villages of Tsitsifes, Vafes and Fres.

Views are stunning in both summer and winter with the dramatic changes of the mountain range. In addition there is a distant view of the coast at Georgiopolis. The national highway is less than 10 minutes drive away from the village, so access to Chania and Rethymno is easy. The airport at Chania is approximately 45 minutes drive away and the lively resort of Kalives, with its sandy beach, is 6km away.

Kamisiana Plot

The village of Kamisiana is a quite place with a beautiful sandy beach backed by greenery that's dotted with sea daffodils, lilies and poppies. This exquisite little resort is the perfect place to get utterly relaxed and escape the stresses and strains of modern day living. Here you can enjoy the life of a traditional Cretan village and you can also find a taverna, kafenion and a supermarket, while a bakery, newsagent, chemist and doctor can be found in the adjacent village of Tavronitis.

Life in Kamisiana isn't about shopping and clubbing. It's about simple pleasures such as relaxing on an uncrowded beach or sitting in a kafenion and having a chat with the locals over a cup of coffee. In the evenings you can sit in a seafront taverna, watching as the orange sun hits the horizon and splays its rays across the azure sea. The historical and picturesque city of Chania is a 15 minute drive to the east, whilst the international airport is 35 minutes away by car.

Suggested Project: 20 houses of different sizes (60 m² - 80 m² - 100 m²)
